Terms and Conditions

The rules for using the OPTCG MX app and website, including the PRO subscription and the artificial intelligence assistant.

Who provides the service: Sergio Franco, an individual with an address in Jalisco, Mexico, who operates OPTCG MX (“OPTCG MX”, “we”, “us”). Contact: soporte@optcgmx.com.

These Terms govern your use of the OPTCG MX app, the website optcgmx.com and their features (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use OPTCG MX

You must be at least 13 years old (14 in Spain and Chile) to create an account. If you're a minor under the law of your country, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who is also responsible for any purchases you make.

2. The Service

OPTCG MX is a tool for ONE PIECE Card Game collectors and players: a card and set catalog, collection, decks, favorites, portfolios for selling or trading, a card scanner, market prices, alerts and an artificial intelligence assistant.

You can use many features without an account; in that case your data stays on your device only and is lost if you uninstall the app. The Service may change over time: we may add, modify or remove features.

3. Your account

  • You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secret. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • Don't share your account or try to access anyone else's.
  • You can delete your account anytime in the app (More → View my profile → Delete account) or as explained in Delete account.

4. Free plan and PRO subscription

  • Free plan: includes the core features with usage limits (for example, daily scans or assistant replies) shown in the app, which may change.
  • PRO: a subscription purchased in the app through Google Play. For now the app is only on Android; the iPhone version isn't available yet. The price, in your currency and including any applicable taxes, is shown before you pay.
  • Auto-renewal: the subscription renews at the end of each period and is charged to your store account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel anytime in your Google Play subscription settings; you keep PRO until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription.
  • Free trials and offers: if offered, their conditions are shown before you accept them.
  • Refunds: payments are processed by the store, so refunds are requested from Google Play under its policies, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
  • Price changes: if the price changes, the store will notify you before it applies to your next renewal.
  • Complimentary PRO: we may grant PRO free of charge for promotions or support; it may have an end date.

Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. When you buy PRO you request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose that right once the subscription starts, to the extent the law allows. This doesn't affect your other statutory rights.

5. AI assistant

  • The assistant is an artificial intelligence system: its replies are generated automatically and may be wrong or incomplete. Double-check important information, especially official rules and prices.
  • Its replies are not financial or investment advice.
  • Don't use it to generate illegal or offensive content or content that infringes third-party rights, and don't share sensitive personal data with it.
  • It only answers about ONE PIECE Card Game and the app. It is designed for users aged 13 and up: it doesn't ask for personal data and declines other topics.
  • It has usage limits based on your plan. You can rate and report replies in the app.

6. Prices and exchange rates

The prices we show are informational estimates based on third-party market sources, usually in US dollars and converted to your currency using reference exchange rates. They may vary by store, country, language, condition, version or date. We don't guarantee their accuracy: before buying or selling, check with your preferred source. We're not a store and we're not involved in purchases or sales between users.

7. Your content and public portfolios

  • You're responsible for what you write or publish (deck and portfolio names, descriptions, notes, prices and reports).
  • Portfolios are public by default: anyone with the link can see them and they may appear in search engines. You can make them private or delete them.
  • You allow us to store, display and process your content only to operate the Service.
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

8. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • Attempt to breach the Service, bypass limits or security measures, or access other people's data.
  • Extract data at scale or by automated means (scraping, bots) or overload the Service.
  • Resell the Service or its data, or use it for fraud, spam or impersonation.
  • Post content that is illegal, offensive, misleading or infringes third-party rights.

9. Intellectual property

OPTCG MX's software, design and original content belong to us and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for non-commercial purposes.

Affiliation notice: OPTCG MX is an independent app and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by BANDAI, Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha or Toei Animation. ONE PIECE, ONE PIECE Card Game, card images and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used for informational and identification purposes only. If you believe any content infringes your rights, contact us and we'll review it.

10. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party services such as Google Play, RevenueCat, artificial intelligence providers and price and exchange-rate providers. Each has its own terms. We're not responsible for failures or changes in services outside our control.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the Service. Where possible, we'll let you know first. You can stop using the Service and delete your account anytime.

12. Warranties and liability

We work to keep the Service running well, but it's provided “as is” and “as available”: we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages, such as lost profits or data loss, or for decisions you make based on prices or assistant replies.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the consumer protection laws of your country do not allow to be excluded.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. If you're a consumer living in another country, you're also protected by the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring claims in its courts. Before starting a claim, please contact us: most things get solved faster that way.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll post the current version on this page with its date and, if the change is significant, let you know in the app in advance. If you keep using the Service after it takes effect, you accept the new version; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.

These Terms are available in Spanish and English. If there's any inconsistency, the version in the language you use the app in prevails.
